Yangon – Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC) has authorized 13 local and foreign investments in October.
Among the permitted businesses are a resort on B.O.T system; a road pebble business; an international standard hotel; a 50-bedded private hospital; cinema; a logistics services business; and a packaging material and furniture factory.
Also permitted are a shoe factory on CMP system, a paint factory, a crop processing and packaging plant, and a sugar plant.
MIC gave permission to the above investment based on the remarks, feedbacks, and examinations by respective regional governments and related union-level ministries and government offices.
As of now, MIC has given permits to over 100 foreign investments and almost 50 citizen investments.
